Neil Pedersen is the principal of Pedersen Law, an Irvine litigation firm. The firm presently employs four attorneys dedicated to representing individuals and entities in employment, insurance and business litigation matters.
Neil graduated magna cum laude from Western State College of Law in Fullerton, California in 1988 as co-Valedictorian and Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. He was inducted into that school’s Alumni Hall of Fame in 2010. Neil’s primary area of practice is the representation of employees against their employers. He has been involved in the procurement of several significant six and seven-figure verdicts and settlements for his clients over the years.
He has served as executive committee member and Chair of the Orange County Bar Association’s Insurance Law and Solo and Small Firm Practitioner sections. Neil is also a fee arbitrator and mediator with the OCBA Mandatory Fee Arbitration Committee. He is presently a Special Advisor to the Executive Committee of the State Bar Law Practice Management and Technology Section after having served for three years as a member of its Executive Committee.
Neil is an adjunct faculty member at Western State College of Law teaching Employment Law and where he co-created and has, for the last five years, been teaching the school’s first Law Practice Management and Technology course.
In July 2016, the California State Bar Solo and Small Firm Section named Neil as its Attorney of the Year.
Neil is a prolific author and regular lecturer on subjects of employment law, insurance law, law practice management, and general litigation. He has been repeatedly named one of the Top Employment Law Attorneys in Orange County, and is identified as a Southern California Super Lawyer.
